TCT provided cost estimating services for a tenant installation in southeast Washington, DC. The scope of work included renovations at the shopping center for the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV), DC Taxicab Commission (DCTC), and DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). The team met with each agency and conducted site visits to determine the status of the existing conditions. The review of the existing conditions included a survey of hazardous material quantification, HVAC capacity, electrical service capacity, and plumbing capacity. The goal of the project was to create a new program document to receive individual agency approval for use of the lower level space of 44,000 SF per leasing agreement at the shopping center. Cost estimating services were provided from Preliminary Evaluation and Design Phase through Final Compliance Phase.
